Venue:  Escpacio 1839

Raw Stories told by Latinx, expressed in ASL.  Space is limited.

The purpose of this event is to maintain a healing space by having Latinx individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, hard of hearing, or late-deafened share their lived experiences.

Six storytellers are lined up who will share stories that reflect their culture(s), mainly from Latin America, on topics such as immigration, family traditions/rituals, identity development, history, education, and many more.

After they share their stories, the stage will be open to the audience; audience members, if they feel comfortable, are welcome to share their own stories that reflect their Latin America culture.

This event is FREE and open to all, but space and seats are limited. If event capacity is reached, priority will be given to the Latinx signing community members.
